This Crystalline Rock Salt from the mountains of the Himalaya is at least 250.000.000 years old. It is harvested and selected, washed and dried in the sun in the traditional way. The Crystalline Rock Salt is very rich in minerals and is the highest form of natural salt. It does not suffer any industrial treatment. It meets the standards of the Codex for food. Our Crystalline Rock Salt is tested several times every year in the German Institute for Food, Water and Environment (i.e. Institut für LWU (Lebensmittel - Wasser - Umwelt), in Neurenberg, Germany. At this moment this Institute checks most Crystalline Rock Salts in Europe and comes as close to an independent certificate of approval as is possible at present. Apart from this the Centre for Inner Peace chooses to sell only this particular Crystalline Rock Salt, because of its great harmonizing effects.
